I noticed this on the replay they showed on the screens in the ground. Not seen much mention of it elsewhere though, but Cummings was rather forcefully shoved into the net when it looked like he may have half a chance to head it clear.

trueroyal1871 If Cummings hadn't been bundled into the net he would have cleared that header off the line. Although it would be harsh to say it was a foul because the Villa player was simply going for the ball to make sure it went in.
Top Flight Booing is a legitimate way to motivate the players. If the manager is unable to get a performance out of the team then the fans have to help the manager by motivating them.

Dont be such a dick Avon. We might not be up to scratch in terms of Premiership quality, in fact we're rubbish, but we are hardly ever out fought. Thats why we are in the top divison. 3 seasons running we have had an average championship team, the results over 150 odd games under BM speak for themselves. We continually get results that are beyond the ability of our players, thats why we won the league. We managed to beat an excellent Everton team with a bit of luck and sheer will to win, last ditch blocks and tackles all over the place. Thats something to be proud of. You can go and draw up a list of games where we have been outfought if you like, but it wont take you long.

Equally, the approach of the club might well be in relation to a stated 5 year plan, where they are looking a bit further ahead than a dozen or so games into year one.
