I guess we'll be finishing 20th instead of 19th this season then.

No. I believe it came out soon after midday today. More likely he was going to the specialist at that time as well.

You believe wrongly, I can still see the tweet on my phones twitter feed.

And I can see that same tweet on my PC twitter feed with the timings on that I referred to (and yes, the clock is right on the PC). It also fits in chronologically with tweets from other people I know.

So what's your explanation for him specifically mentioning that he was off to see a second specialist? Also why then delete it? Not saying you are wrong but would like to understand why it might be as you say it is.

Hoop Blah
Royal Rother
Hoop Blah Gunter was injured, not that it makes a massive difference to your point.

Was he? I missed that - but I got the impression from BM's interview where he said that he'd told Gunter to do something to do something to really make the position his own (after also referring to " a couple of mistakes" he'd made), that he'd had it in mind to play Cummings anyway...

In one of the pre or post match interviews he said how Gunter pulled up during the 'team play session'.

My assumption is that because he was in that team play session he was probably still starting. Either way he wasn't fit, hence not even being on the bench and Gunnarsson getting his kit on for the first time this season.

Probably a similar injury to the one that got Guthrie and Feds!

Sometimes when you are dropped, you don't even get on the bench and Bryn might have been seen as the better bet, being able to cover two positions (or maybe McDermott did just start listening to the CM players on here!).

The tweet about seeing a second specialist was before the tweet where he said he would be out for the season :|

Are you talking about this tweet?

That tweet was before the #raging tweet.

During his Dellor Q&A earlier in the week he said how it was a close thing between Cummings and Gunter, but it still sounded like Gunter was the man in possession fo the shirt.

When talking about the changes he basically said Gorkss was dropped so not sure why he wouldn't with Gunter, especially as he said he was injured during the team preperation for the game. If he was being dropped he probably wouldn't have been in that session and it seems a far fetched lie, even for a football manager.

Spot on.

Likewise when Guthrie was originally left out McD said it was tactical. Not entirely sure why people still seem so sure that having said that he would then suddenly invent a 4 week injury to the same player particularly when we were so short in central midfield.

Why would Villa loan a relegation rival a very good goalkeeper? You lot really need to get over this hatred for Feds. Average of 18 shots on our goal so far this season that doesn't help any Keeper particularly one who is getting constant abuse from his own clubs fans.

The stick Federici gets is ridiculous - yes he's not playing well but saying he has a 'primmadonna attitude' is pathetic. It wasn't him who made those tweets, it was his girlfriend. Federici has worked so hard to become No.1 and there's constant reports about how he gets to training before everyone and leaves after everyone else - that's not a primmadona attitude, that's a head-down-work-hard attitude. If he makes a mistake, have a little rant, and move on. But don't take your blinded view of him as gospel, it won't help anyone. And don't forget he was one of the main reasons we got to the premier league in the first place.

There really are some o*ford mugs on this forum.

Were it not for Federici's incredible form last season as probably the best Championship goalkeeper we wouldn't have even got promoted!

Yeah so what he's made a few mistakes at this level, he's inexperienced at this level. So is McCarthy - do you remember the game against Tottenham when every bloody player looked shambolic including him. Yes, McCarthy was on fire just before he got injured, but Federici kept him out of the side last season and if he can get back to last season's form then I'll be delighted.

The amount of stick Federici gets is a disgrace considering some of the other inept fools we have in the side. It's all too easy to have a go at the keeper for some on here.

Unfortunately, now the chips are down, we also have a lot of recently acquired (and old forgetful) "inept" fans

Out for a " long time " after having to have surgery as his initial treatment was unsuccessful.

Simon's Church I guess we'll be finishing 20th instead of 19th this season then.

If we are realistic like Seige, we should finish 21st
