With 'arry employed at QPR who could turn this around? Did we miss our opportunity? Mark Hughes anybody? (rofl)

Seriously, maybe we need to actually plan for the Championship and make sure that we have a manager who can cope at that level. Oh, we do. He can't at this level although he had no support financially

All together now!

WE ARE GOING DOWN! WE ARE GOING DOWN! WE ARE GOING DOWN! WE ARE GOING DOWN! WE ARE GOING DOWN! WE ARE GOING DOWN! WE ARE GOING DOWN! WE ARE GOING DOWN! WE ARE GOING DOWN! WE ARE GOING DOWN!

On the plus side we are in a better place when McDermott took over

I am normally an RTG but what I cannot excuse is the complete lack of effort or passion today.

Just not good enough, he has to go, never mind after Sunderland, that game is winnable, he should go now.

Avon Royal
akranes oxf*rd anyone who remains positive.

Nobody remains positive.

The usual suspects will try to pull off the whole "I'm a better fan - you're all pcunts" thing but their hearts won't really be in it. They just won't want to acknowledge that they've been proved wrong.

I'm not positive but what else did we expect?

Sack a manager with a great record in cup and championship? Harsh to punish him for overperforming last season. Spend a tonne of money on transfers and wages? No guarantee, as previous deals have shown.

I wish it were better, but rushing (especially given we can't sign anyone for a good fortnight) strikes me as rash.

I'm glad it's not my call, it's one you could easily get wrong. I am glad glad glad we can't hire that cocktard Redknapp.

I see lots of effort, but zero confidence, zero composure and zero direction.

That's about the best shout I've heard, manager wise. Experience in the Championship too, should the apparently inevitable happen.

Better off watching Reading FC Women. Top of the Women's Premier League (Southern) playing fantastic football and scoring goals for fun. Not letting goals in either. +27 goal difference after 9 games!

Actually McDermott and his coaches should go and watch them too, they will learn something!

No, punish him for so badly underperforming this season. He did have money (no one knows how much) but one thing is clear, he p8ssed away what money he did have.
