disappointing to say the least with brian's choices for starters. the bench is a disaster. when we give up a goal its the end cause only alfie will be able to score, and no one else in the squad has enough quality to get us back.

Am I the only one excited about the possibility of Gunnarsson making an appearance tonight?

I love you Bryn!

Royal Lady Is HRK injured? What's happened to him FFS. He's not been *that* bad last few games.

BBC Berks were giving out that he had an injury earlier.

Tim Dellor has just said that Guthrie must be injured but it seems weird that Reading FC twitter haven't mentioned him at all, nor have they made any reference to Roberts. It's odd because they tend to give out information fairly quickly. Gives me the impression that something is afoot.
Roberts may well be being taught a lesson because he's been proper shit over the last couple of games.

As for Guthrie it beggars belief! He hasn't played in seven and a half weeks so you can't drop him on merit! Time to put personal feuds to one side and put our best players in!

Noel Hunt is one of the worst strikers I've ever seen in a Reading shirt. It defies belief how he is playing in the premier league. It defied belief how he was playing in the championship.

The SPL must be oxf*rd shocking.

NO touch
NO Speed
No Movement
Can't Finish
Can't pass
Can't dribble

Can run around like a cluess oxf*rd YES
Can header YES

philM
paultheroyal Cheer on the boys and all that but that bench is an absolute disgrace!

Quick, call Brian and give him the benefit of your in-depth up to date knowledge about the squad.

What's the status on injuries Paul?

Even the Reading FC Twitter page confirmed the injuries of Karacan, Morrison and Kebe..... No Guthrie mentioned though.

The lesson here is that McDermott messed up the summer transfer dealings, we are paying the price now and therefore if we continue on a downward slope, he should just be sacked.

I love the way only Reading FC can toss away a season in the Premiership after all the hard work and success last season

Everything you said really.

That BM has made the team choices because he has lost the plot?

That BM is happy with the team he is putting out?

That this is an example of poor poor management?

Absolute rofl at the bench.

I mean fair enough if HRK, Roberts, Pog, Guthrie, Karacan, Kebe are all injured but it really does highlight a lack of depth.

If we're chasing the game with 20 mins to go we have to give someone a PL debut.Woop.

Looks very much like the dressing bust up happened on Saturday as rumoured and a few players are paying the price, the dressing room as been lost.

What are the chances of no subs being made tonight? Can't imagine McDermott bringing on a young player for their Reading league debut (?) so that's our attacking options gone, when did Bryn last play?, and you imagine there won't be a change at the back unless there's an injury, etc. I really hope that bench is due to a injury crisis rather than something else.

The football family on twitter said Roberts is there tonight.... jogging down the stairs b the changing rooms. No sign or injury or place in the squad?

WHATS GOING ON!

Team selection is shocking. But well happy if Obita and Samuel get a run out, both look like top prospects
