Yet Another Updated Poll. Stay or Go after Sunderland loss

by Big Ern » 11 Dec 2012 21:42

First showed still a lot of support for Brian, the second after the Southampton game showed many had changed their minds, although not an overwhelming percentage in giving him the boot.. What will it look like tonight after not only losing, but making Sunderland look like Real Madrid.

Vote with your heads, not with your hearts.

Lost his tactics, lost the players and now losing the fans.

Souness or Hoddle for 6 months then hand over to Dolan.

Only one choice now guys. The man is a lovely fellow, but lovely fellows dont win you games. Look at Colin at Leeds, he has had success of being a complete and utter knobjock and it works

Has to go now, he's lost the bloody plot. Next games against Arsenal & Man City basically don't count for anything so let's sack him now and we have two weeks to bring in someone new. Before today I was saying only sack him if you can get in someone better - now I don't care, Ian oxf*rd Dowie would be better than this shit!

Lessons aren't being learnt and there is nothing to suggest things will change for the better

He has to go

First time I've voted to sack him. ONLY if the new manager is willing to play Guthrie and get us passing the ball. I don't see McDermott doing that so I fear he has to go

90% sack
10% keep

i love brian for everything he has done but, we still could have a small chance to stay in the premier league and we need to do anything we can to stay by i dont know using the premier quality players we actually have instead of benching them for bullshit reasons.

I voted for keep after the Southampton game but just looking at the team that started and finished this game has changed my mind. Its worse than any team that we put out last season, including in the League Cup, so for that, I think he has to leave.

Brian doesn't deserve abuse for what has happened this season, but everyone's time comes and I hope he goes before things get messy. He's a nice guy but has hit his limit at the top end of the Championship. In his own words he should 'move on, learn from it and do better next time', which he will do back in the Championship.

Is that the same mighty Leeds who are 14th in the Championship?

Of course he's a nice guy - who else would f*ck up their own job by keeping Leigertwood in his job.

And if he goes nothing will change. That being said the drum beat grows louder.

This was especially dispiriting tho. We allowed a struggling Sunderland team to win at a canter. They never look bothered by us in the slightest...and they really are shit despite how we made them look tonight.

We have a complete systemic failure right now at Reading FC from the players on the pitch right up to upper management. It has all broken down so changing the manager will not change a thing...

Thing is, he ain't going anywhere.

What will be awful is fans chanting McDermott out on Monday night.
