Bring Gunnarsson in

by White Rougier » 14 Dec 2012 17:00

offers as much as leigertwood does in midfield and could bring the calming influence needed in the centre mid to rise us up the table and to safety.

thoughts?

I'll have some of what you're on!

Love the Brynster to bits but the day he dons the hoops again is the day I start putting my hard earned on us being the first to get relegated this season.

if half the Bryn in the above video still exists he must be worth looking at instead of what we are playing already!

Overrated Carthorse

Hope he never wears the hoops again.

Why not! He couldn´t do any worse than the current midfield pairing.

would absolutely love this!
but seriously do you think he still has the legs to do it? would hate to see him get rinsed...he'll have to have tabb or jem (when fit) to do his running but it may be worth that one moment of magic, that killer pass which we're totally lacking at the mo.

He must surely be talking about Legs because Bryn is not over-rated and has always shown himself to be a class player. Can tackle, retain the ball, beat players and pick a good pass. Pretty damn good with his head too.

Even if he is close to his pension, he can't do any worse than some of the others that we have had to watch 'play' for us this season.

True, could be Ledge at the moment !

Come on, Tackle ? err no, foul , oh yes., retain the ball?, err...no, unless you mean pass it backwards? or not get near it?
Beat players?...only with a piece of rubber hose
Pick a good pass?...err..no, i can't think of more than 1?
Don't remember him winning a header either, but maybe i missed that one

Do we have 2 Gunnarsons at Reading?

Scored a brilliant header at Old Trafford, scored a great header at home to Sheffield Utd in our first promotion season that tore the roof off the place.

1 Gunnarsson...

No, just the one. The one that can not only beat players but on several occasions beat genuine PL/International class players with cheeky nutmegs or flicks over their heads!

If you could get somebody to work hard infront of him he'd do a job at right back. Can't be any worse than the other two clowns who've played there this season

God we are desperate. We may as well play some old biddy with a walking frame.. might see more movement from her than Leig though!

I saw Wally Downes was sacked at West Ham. BM a bit aggressive when asked about him coming back to help out by Tim Dellor. What was that all about.? Is there a history there?
