Ian Royal Can, can can attach blame to a manager consistently making bad decisions, seemingly alienating multiple players - Guthrie, Pearce, Pog's latest comments, Roberts disappearing, Federici. If it was just Guthrie, fine. But it's not is it.
But I'm not going round in circles with you, you disagree, but you would, because you're rabidly pro club and refuse to apportion blame even when there clearly is some.

Hoop Blah You can certainly blame McDermott if the way he's treated his players leaves them feeling ostracised and not part of 'the group'.
It's the managers job to manage the personalities within the squad. From the outside it looks like he's been failing on that front too.

MmmMonsterMunchPremAddictMadstad to Nadderud The football is boring. It wasn't that great when the team got promoted last season. We won many games with not playing well. I remember Brian saying often that the team had not found their gear. We are a poor side and should not be in the premiership. This can't carry on despite we're going down because this boring style of play needs a new lick of paint. Move on is definit
ely the words.
Sure we should be in the Premiership; we were champions last season right? Every year three are found to be wanting, but they deserve the chance to try. I think most of the negativity is around the perception that we just didn't (or aren't) trying.
[Snip]
Frankly I find the competition in the C'ship much more compelling than getting promoted and playing the "just need to get 17th and I'll be happy" card. What a crock. The Premier League may be "the best in the world" but not from where I sit; when you can pretty much predict the outcome every season and where the odd upset or a "newboy" or two mustering the ability to stave-off relegation makes big news, that's not very enjoyable in my book.
There, now I feel better.
Very nice post but in hindsight do you not feel you user name was a little misguided?!

so does that mean you are happy to forfeit points in the league for McDermott and the club to make their point
Thats exactly whats happening.

melonhead ...unlike the rest of our divwit fans im happy with idea that a player who has been out for over a month, and has played 45 mins of reserve team football, and has recently refused to play, might not walk straight back into th eteam.

The pearce thing is really stupid - Wenger hasn't dropped Walcott for not signing a new contract or Van Persie last year or Fabrigas year before etc etc??

Unless he's Jimmy Kebe of course (bar the refusing to play bit obviously).
