Chelsea win = best domestic team in the world
Chelsea lolose = glorified friendly in front of some disinterested football tourists on the other side of the world while the rest of the football world carries on with the serious business of their domestic leagues without a sideways glance to Nipon.

Presume it is the latter Kes?

Cue the 'nothing cup' defence from the CheLOLsea fans (and the mass celebrations if they'd won it)

Born 'n Bred Royal I can't quite understand why Benitez went to CheLOLsea, it's a lose-lose situation for him. Damned if he does well (because of their disgrace of a support) and damned even more (with dignity lost) if they lose today for example. Awful club, sacking Di Matteo was an utter joke

You can't work it out?

If he does well then he makes millions and is treated as a hero.

If he does badly, and gets sacked, he still gets millions in a pay-off, and gets let off for being put in an unworkable position.

Chelsea leave their 'tactics sheets' behind in Japan and journalists get hold of it

Good to see that footballers these days need reminding before games to be aware of counter attack

Good to see also that they need pictures of who everyone else in their own team is.

If you're talking about programming people to respond instinctively to a change in the situation, I can see why they do that rather than use names.

Deffo feels like he is going somewhere. Didn't he say this week something like 'these talks could take a while to resolve'? Basically trying to keep fans from turning on him while allowing the 6 months left on his contract to run down.

I'm Oop North this week, and the locals here REALLY fancy Leeds' chances tonight; they also reckon that Colin's tactics will be the same as those employed against us in April, with Mata the main target for the er.... robust style of play Colin likes to see on a football pitch......

Rafa clearly didn't give out his 'be aware of counter attack' sheets before the game

Yes - he's getting really good at scoring goals in no mark competitions that don't matter this season.
