I lost count of the times I posted last season
saying that I can see the stats, see the table
but DON'T think we are very good.

Of course a side can get a freak run of results.

It's one reason why sometimes a weak side gets to Wembley

IMO we were the equivalent of the side who sneaks up in the POs
and then finds out it doesn't have even a core of Prem players

And I maintain that, despite the final table, we had very little quality and stole the division

BraisingsteakRoyal All I know is that I came away from the ground in the majority of those games last season shaking my head in disbelief that we'd been massively outplayed for 9/10ths of the game and still won.

Perhaps we were the fittest, most robust, most determined, most 'together' group of players in the Championship, but in pure footballing terms - no way were we the best. Anyone that went to a large portion of the games would have seen that.

This is it in a nutshell

And it's not as if I'm saying these things after-the-fact. I said it at the time, repeatedly.

It would be interesting to see how many clubs felt they were robbed by us rather than beaten fair and square.

Vision The irony of Mr Statto actually ignoring the only stat that's ultimately significant because it doesn't fit his opinion.

Umpteen posts about goals per minute by individual players in completely different circmustances are to be revered and slavishly worshipped (even if they're not always accurate) but the most number of points in 46 game football season where every team plays every other team home and away twice is somehow erroneous.

I'm expecting a whoosh any minute here because he can't possibly really believe what he's saying can he?

I used to think he was just a troll, but after a while I realised the bloke's just a bit thick.
