With Kebe defending Brian in the interview, is he relaying the general feeling from the dressing room (which includes the management team)? In my opinion the interview itself is a sign that the better players and the management team are starting to lose patience with "the Reading way" and also the new owner?

I doubt McDermott thought he would be in charge of Reading when the TSI investment was announced hence why he offered his resignation in their first meeting. When he was told he was the man to take Reading forward he must have been pleased at the thought of finally receiving some financial backing, I bet his face was a picture when he was told he would need to continue "the Reading way".

Kebe saying that more money needs to be spent = Kebe reckons that his team-mates aren't up to it = indicative of the 'beaten before kick off' spirit we have shown in the last 2 or 3 games. Some things are better kept to yourself, Kebe, and this is a prime example of that. So far from being some sort of 'legend', this outspoken moment is just as :| as 98% of the rest of your career with us has been, tbh.

Quite ironic in that Kebe wanted to go until the new owner coughed up the cash for a new contract that he quickly signed. Also, if we did get a team worthy of the premiership Kebe wouldn't get a game

Not true, the contract was tabled before TSI arrived. He didn't want to stay at Reading because he was frustrated cloth-cutting at the end of each season. TSI came, promised investment, so he signed.

Idiot.

Idiot???? Are you that stupid that you think he would give a shit about the team? He signed an improved contract bankrolled by the new owner. You are living in a dreamworld if you don't think then any player will walk away from a contract for the promise of more cash. No one came in for Kebe with a better deal as they all realised he wasn't worth the cash he thought he could ask for. Fool!

I totally admire and commend Kebe for what he did (or didn't say) in that interview, however his performance against Arsenal - especially when he was 'cleverly' cutting inside with the ball and running a bit without really having anywhere to go - but it looked good - was totally for his own / showboating / look how good I am / Come and get me benefit.

Saw it immediately at the time and still think the same now.

He is utter crap, I hate watching him. When he runs his legs move real fast, but he goes no where.
Sat right behind the goal against arsenal when he scored, he shut his eyes as he kicked it lol. Fluke
