This one's been all over Twitter for a couple of days, and it got started by Spurs fans who claim he goes out to us and Eriksson or Moutinho are coming in.

SPARTA Done deal with Spurs apparently.

So say spurs fans but that doesn't make them right. Many saying it's done as well but I'll believe it when I see it. I can't see how is passing style will work here unless we do try and play some proper football, but then we've got Guthrie? I just can't see it. It'll end up being some physical midfielder from the Championship.

I, for one, will be booing him for headbutting Convey.

biscuitman Didn't realise Spurs seaon ticket holders get copied into transfers and loans.

Here's one for you. We're getting Naughton and Carroll from them. A proper source from Spurs.

Naughton is the right back I hoped we would get in the summer. Can't see Spurs letting him come to us now though, as he provides cover on the left side as well for them.

To play regularly? It's hardly an issue for him in the long term if we get relegated. He can get 90 minutes under his belt week in, week out, and possibly demonstrate with his performances in a weak team that AVB should be picking him next season.

Pretty much what Jamie O'Hara did at Wolves. Which worked......... for a little while.

I wasn't saying it would or wouldn't work for him or us. Was simply positing a rather obvious reason as to why he would potentially come to us on loan.

Now if we were going for him permanently, I would definitely have to question why he would come to us.

I never said you were. I was just backing up your post by giving an example where something similiar happened.

He didn't actually headbutt Convey at all, in fairness, but motioned to do so and that was enough for the referee to produce the red card. A piece of silliness but not violence from Huddlestone.
In fairness to Convey, he did not collapse on the floor clutching his face as most modern day footballers would have done.

PistolPete
Shorey and Gunter or Cummings could do a job and might even give our forwards a chance!

Which one ? Unless it is Alf it would be spurned

Tom - But we'll lose posession

Brian - You are injured for 4 weeks.
