STFU you dick, BM can be proud of the players today and there are plenty of positives.

Haven't you got people on Hobnob to scam out of some money?

Had a few Southbank?

Maguire
southbank1871 If Pog had done that at the other end, it would almost certainly been given as a foul.

That's Premiership life for you.

Personally I reckon it's because we brought Guthrie on :?

ZacNaloen Seriously people, that late goal isn't what we should take away from the game.

Look at the change of tactics.

Guthrie played well when he came on.

Karacans back and for 75 minutes kept our midfield in the game.

Kebe looking like he's carrying that form back from the new year and Pearce played really well.

spirited performance.
Unlucky to concede at the end.
would have taken 1-0 at the start of the day, etc.
would have expected city to win.

I know it has been trotted out too much before, but there were some things to build on in that perormance. we stopped the midfield being overrun, although the flip side is that we struggle to keep the ball up front.

it will feel much worse for the time of the goal.
A cruel game football......

perform like that for the rest of the season please. At least it looks like we have tried then.

paulholsgrove83 We will take positives from this game and lose to Swansea on boxing day

Lets hope McDermott sticks with 4-5-1 and drops legsofwood.

Plays Guthrie and sticks McCleary behind Pog, who sounded like he had a good game.

Avon Royal
ZacNaloen We've gotta play this for the rest of the season, city are miles ahead of us and the work rate today has been top notch.

1-0 isn't a bad result.

Maybe not on paper, but season defining in reality. Heart beaking, spirit crushing, morale destroying fuck up.

Stick a fork in us, we're done.

You're in the dressing room then?

Come on.

We all thought this would be a slaughter.

This City team costs millions and we cost nothing in comparison.

Reading must take a lot of heart from that performance.

Wigan lost
Southampton lost
QPR lost

Perspective needed.................

southbank1871 Could have been a massive point for us, sadly I think that will now compound our lack of confidence.

Exactly this.

A 2-0 loss in a game we were never in wouldn't have dented us so much.

Midfield of Karacan, Guth, Tabb on Wednesday.

Two work horses and a play maker. You know it's right Brian.

Didn't deserve that, but it wouldn't feel half as bad if Brian had played Pearce for the rest of the season, I expect we'd have a lot more points on the board.

A point would have been gr8 and totally unexpected. For us to have any chance of staying up, we need to beat Swansea and West Ham.

Sounds like you deserved a draw today, but that's how it is when you're at the bottom. 0-0 away at City, squeaky bum time towards the end, playing thinking they've done enough to earn a point, then BOOOM. Always got to concentr8 until that whistle is blown. Naive from the players at the end.

Gutting first game that we actually played well in. We should have played like that all season!

As usual referee cheats.

Must win next two home games. No excuses for not doing so.

That performance does NOT make up in anyway for the previous rubbish.

Now THAT is defeatist talk.

Do you think the players are sat there now going "oh well, at least we didn't get slaughtered"? Of course not, they will be utterly distraught.
