MOTD just highlighted the penalty shout, not for the foul on Tabb but a platant handball inside the box in the same incident , Robbie Savage made a fair point about the goal saying the goal was good and that Shorey was at fault for not jumping when the ball was in flight before Barry got to him.

LoyalRoyalFan Remember where this club has come from.

I know what you're trying to say so this isn't a flame but this mentality needs revising...

In 1871 we were at least the fourth best club in the country (possibly in the world?)... So why are we not now?

E ven in the top half of the Prem we would be punching BELOW our historical weight

"don't be stupid" is the most likely response. Which makes my point: you make your own history and can't go by what has been. That's the embarrassing mistake the Rectum Crew used to make, superglued to Madejski's rectum by memories of little old Reading.

A big thriving affluent growing town with huge catchment area etc etc etc we deserve Premierhip football and nothing less. That's what Madejski could spot when he took this club over and it's what Anton sees. Its our aim, our destiny, eventually our right.

And it WILL happen.

Agree that the goal was fair, but think we should have had a penalty. Second major miss-call on a Tabb penalty. Problem is he's making too much of them

what they did was stop the ball when it was still in the air about 2 thirds of the way to Shorey, Barry was 3 yards from him. thats when Shorey should have been attacking the ball rather than waiting for it to come to him.

BraisingsteakRoyal Everyone is w@nking over how well we did - we had 10 men behind the ball for the entire game. How many saves did Joe Hart make?

Hint: It's none.

Legs of wood and McAnuff out - Midfield of Guthrie, Karacan and Tabb - with HRK just behind Pog.

hang on a minute, had you come to city to play football you would have got mullered. look at the players we have, of course its down to the money we have but those players are outstanding. your manager did a great job of keeping us at bay, his instructions were followed to the letter by your players. it frustrated our players and kept the crowd quiet. job well done i say, it very nearly worked.

Any comment on Silva being given acres of room to cross the ball?

On the plus side, McDermott finally accepts that sometimes you have to play for the draw.
