LoyalRoyal22 Would love to see him in a Reading shirt. Could play 4-5-1 with him in the hole, and Jem and Guthrie holding midfield. probably get the best out of pav aswell

Can't help but think if we manage to bring in Andrey it will help to push through other deals like Huddlestone. If we get one of these big names in I reckon there will be a few more players interested than what they would be if we didn't.

Feders
Gunter
Pearce
Mariappa
Shorey
Guthrie
Huddlestone
Kebe
Cole
Arshavin
Pog

Subs:
Taylor
Harte
Jem
Tabb
Mcanuff
Alf
J Rob

If we bring in these players our squad is already looking much stronger especially in that midfield. Maybe I would swap one of the centre halves for Morrison when he gets back from injury.

Arshavin behind Pog would be a really really nice option to have.

I think the main reason he's blown hot and cold at Arsenal is because he isn't a wide player, put him back in that central role and let him do his thing.

Yeh and if we let brian put his arm around him and make him the central point of the team, he will love it. Like the role he played for Russia before Dzagoev came on the scene. Remember him taking Holland apart in Euro 2008

I love this team selection. Unfortunately, I can never see McDermott drop Liegertwood or McAnuff

Arshavin now 4/6 to join us, but reports this morning say a perm deal. No way in hell will he commit to us long-term with us in this position. A loan with a view to a perm deal in the summer maybe.

Still a big lol at Arsenal's record signing possibly coming here.

Agreed, like many other creative players he seems to be the sort that is made to feel a bit special, have the team built around him and his off games accommodated in order to make the most of his talents and his good games.

He needs to be the big fish in a smaller pond, just like Berbatov at Fulham.

Hopefully!

The worry is that on current form McDermott might try to get him to just whack it long as quickly as possible and then drop him for Tabb once he fails to adapt!

The hole behind the striker? So based on yesterday's display that'd be around our penalty spot?

It just means lots of people have read the story and lumped on, doesn't mean it's going to happen.
