Look, it ain't great but it's a better performance and more solid. We all agree that this team cannot compete and today showed what we are missing but we have January to now add to this team in the areas we need.

We were solid and steady second half but completely lacking in creativity. We're getting the right shape but now need the right players

You missed the 's' off the end of Russian

at the beginning of the match i probably would have taken a point against a swansea side who is playing awesome right now. however, after the match i am disappointed we didnt get all 3. we outplayed them 2nd half. alfies 2 chances were spectacular and on another day probably would have gone in.

John Salako said it was embarrassing for Reading at times today.

In the context of the game I think we have to admit a draw was a reasonably good result, however in the context of the pile of poo that we find ourselves in, a draw is not enough.

On another note, how much of a loss have Karacan and kebe been up to now. If they had been fit all season, I think we would not be in the place we're in now.

A clean sheet and at least we're off the bottom now. We've stopped the run of defeats as well.

I think our strongest team is now:

--------------------------Federici----------------------------

--Gunter------Pearce-------Morrison-----Shorey/Harte--

----Kebe------Karacan----Guthrie ---Tabb-------HRK-----

-------------------------Le Fondre---------------------------

Swap Le Fondre for Roberts and I'd probably agree.

Did anyone think Alfie could have headed the one he handled in?

Was Harte not on at the end of the game? I swear he was. If he was on, why on earth did he not take the free kick at the end? Guthrie had an awful delivery on the free kick at the end.

+1 but McAnuff, HRK or mcCleary could all all play LW. Not too much difference between them.

Excellent choice taking McAnuff off who was very poor

Looked more solid and much better shape, managed to control the midfield more. However we have so little creativity and quality on the ball that we will continue to struggle

Can't say it was a v interesting game to watch

Le fondre can not play a lone striker role, even tho he has many attributes he can not hold the ball up, we need to play
a 4-1-3-1-1 with Jem just in front of the back four, guthrie controlling the midfield and le fondre playing just off of roberts

agreed. mcanuff was fairly poor for most of the match. HRK was a breath of fresh air when he came on.

Good second half performance (can see why Brian set us up the way he did in the first half)

oxf*rd hate Chico and Routledge and that oxf*rd of a sub that they bought on.

Anyone who doesn't think that that was a good point is a oxf*rd clueless oxf*rd (either that, or they have another agenda).

Well contested game, short on quality but a fair result.

We're not likely to threaten too many teams at this level with one up top in front of an average at best midfield. At least the opposition are having to work against us now though.

Jobi needs a huge kick up the ass. Drop him and give the armband to Pearce. Wake up call jobi needs. There is a part of me realising why he's never played in the prem up untill now

Thing is, the armband went from Jobi to Leigertwood. Would rather have Jobi on that Mikele...

We need a leader on the pitch at the moment and Jobi isn't one unfortunately. So so quiet on the pitch
