Held on, well done boys, great to get another win. Let's see where we are after WBA, but at least we're now competing.

Scrappy, ugly...but more importantly, a battling performance.

2 clean sheets a good defensive display against Man City as well.

We have a base to push on from. Won't need that much more quality on the ball to ensure we at the very least go down fighting. Get the right couple of players in ....who knows?

I stand corrected. Might as well enjoy today as cannot see another win coming anytime soon.

ManchesterRoyals Could this be the Great Escape

No. 37% possession tells us all we need to know.

BBC says 49%-51%

Just wished we'd played a tighter game at those 5 away games we lost to sides around us

"I really can't stand that little muggy team, even more so since last season and we fail time and time again to put them to the sword. It's embarassing."

I've just read the latest page and it's all very sensible and realistic. (Disappointing!)

Exactly this. What if. But the great escape certainly isn't out of the question. I was looking at our last seven games of the season, including the ones we have got at home. Not a bad final run-in. Let's hope it's not too late by then!

We are still pretty shite, no doubt about that, but the confidence of nearly 3 clean sheets, plus potentially a couple of loan signings coming in to bolster the squad.... well, you never know. We just might be creating a bit of momentum to go with that confidence.

I am ashamed to say this as RR is such a massive twat, but I have to agree with him.

you always get a few muppets on every forum but most of us realise that West Ham are in serious danger of going into free fall unless we win soon at this rate the game at Upton Park on the final day of the season could well be a relegation decider for both clubs.

With only one conceded in the last 3 matches doesn't it bring into question the Pearce situation in earlier matches when, for whatever reason we will never know, he wasn't considered good enough to bolster the very leaky defense, would appear to be a rather petty insane exclusion. For whatever he lacks in technical ability he more than makes up for in effort and determination, the boy always give 150%, we has to get his contract sorted, do so and he will be at the Mad Stad for years to come.

Always nice to get the annual win over West Ham.

The world always turns. Everything that lives must die. Reading will always beat West Ham.

I really hate West Ham. They sum up the meaning of arrogance. Was so happy to see Vaz Te miss his OPEN GOAL chance after what he said about us & Southampton before the play off final. West Ham just think they can turn up at the start of a season and get promoted/win games because they are a BIG club!

KUMB Kant Well, one more thing to add:

Reading fans - you won a game, ONE game to add to your other one. Yes we have fans that are arrogant (me I guess lol), please look at your own forum for examples of this.

But, you are still crap, dirty (but we are too? Ok, I can deal with that), and are still going down and maybe next year you might get sponsored by Happy Shopper, or better still, some corner shop in that crap town you are.

Go away and shut up and stop acting like you have won a trophy or beat one of the big boys. One day, we MAY be one of those teams, but you? Not a hope in hell

Bye bye, close the trapdoor on your way down.

Mugs..
