I follow Portuguese Liga ZON Sagres every week (fc porto fan) and I haven't heard this anywhere on the usual sources. Any definite dealings are usually posted days before anything happens by ben shave on portugoal.net, and he's been spot on for most. He was the one who reported AVB going to Chelsea before the english press knew. Anyway, Sporting are in free fall at the moment and Carrico hasn't been paritcularly great either. The only player worth a look is Eric Dier. 18yr old english right back who's recently broke into their first team. If Carrico does go anywhere it will be Spain or Italy...moving to Benfica would be like moving from Citeh to Man Utd and I don't think he would be that stupid either.
