Second hand car salesmen are usually quite good at getting you to buy a cut and shut banger and Rodgers is the football equivalent. Stumbled into a job (Swansea)that was tailor made for his style and got a bit of success which bizarrely, given Swansea have played that style long before he joined them, led to him being hailed as the inventor of football by the English media. One ok start to PL life later and Liverpool appoint him. Bad start to the season, then they recovered and now they've lost two of their last three which coincided with him characteristically opening his big mouth about finishing second. Don't deny that he has a great ability to land on his feet but despite his relative success since leaving up I'm still not convinced he's as good as he's built up to be by both himself and the media.
