You all know it's going to be (to the "here we go" chant)

Carrico, Carrico, Carrico
Carrico, Carrico, Carrico

ad infinitum....

Me and you and you and me,
No matter how they toss the dice it has to be,
The only one for me is you, and you for me,
Daniel Car-ri-co

I can't see me lovin' nobody but you,
For all my life,
When you're with me, baby the skies'll be blue,
For all my life.

(or maybe we could just forget the ghey words and just sing it like this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAHEZrX6mSA&feature=youtube_gdata_player)

Is it my imagination
Or have I finally found something worth living for
I was looking for some action
But all I got were cigarettes and Carico

think this has potential .. feel free to improve..

To the tune of Robbie Williams - Candy

Hey Ho, Carrico,
Hes solid at the back,
From Portugal,
With his two good feet,
on the ball,
He thinks hes made of candy!

Lyrics could do with some work but i think the tune is great for him!

Myyyyyyy name is Daniel Carrico, I come from near Porto,
I play in midfield for Reading (READING)
When I walk down the street, all the girls that I meet say
'oi gorgeous, what's your name then?'

Oh Danny Boy, the Royals the Royals are calling
From Elm to Mad and down the Mountain side
Shane Long has gone and Friday's memories dying
Tis you, tis you must play and I must pray
But come ye back when summer's at the Mad Stad
Or when Jim Kebe's old and white and slow
Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow
Oh Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so.

Sorry to put a spanner in the works, but doesn't that little diddly bit under the 'c' mean that it is not pronounced with a hard 'c' sound but rather a 'th' sound?

Interesting to see how our songsters deal with that one.
