calm down everyone, this isnt a disaster. we played decently against one of the best sides in the league, and we created quite a few decent chances that could have easily gone in. we were just very unlucky today, not saying we would have won but on another day we would have gotten a draw at least.

Pog kept us in the game. Our biggest threat by far.He was creating chances out of nothing.

Good win for Spurs to cap an outstanding festive period.

The best of luck to Reading for the rest of the season.

I agree. However the fact we can't/don't pass properly for a Premier League team, feel an urge to attempt 40 yard passed when a simple pass will do, and don't close down the opposition is still worrying. We must have the highest shots ratio against us in all divisions I reckon.

Since changing formation at Man City, we have gone:

Lost (against a top 4 team)
Draw
Win
Lost (against a top 4 team)

If (and its a big IF) we can keep grabbing ugly wins and keep up this "form", we finish the season on 37 points.
Its not the magic 40, but I've seen teams survive on 37

lets be honest we had very little chance of getting something out of this, its games like west brom at home which will define our season.

windermere_royal Did anyone really expect us to get anything today? its teams around us we need to nick points off of , calm down chaps

But we got 1 point off teams around us.

I did not expect us to win or even draw but I expect us to be able to pass the ball, take our chances and well doing the simple things right. I would also like to see Brian actually aware of the shit we got in team and ship them out quick. Also be aware of Harte's pace against Lennon, shocking decision to keep Harte in let alone bring him in the side.

I don't think Legsofwood could get any more oxf*rd? He is literally undroppable. Carrico needs to settle in quick, Crawley a good way to start.

How can you lot all predict us to get smashed and then act pissed off when we lose by a two goal margin?

I really don't think we were expected to get too much from the game, and it's not exactly the end of the world..

The gap is only five points. five measly points. It's nothing. The right results together with us winning a two games and that's it. Simple.

What I say after that is perfectly fair. Come up with a decent response or stick to reading the forum instead of wasting my time with thoughtless replies like that.

it irritates me to no end that we continue playing long balls like that when we should keep the ball on the ground passing and work out way down the pitch that way. instead we play a long ball and we end up losing it with a sketchy first touch.
