Ian Royal It's a penis gag USA.

i know. i was giving him the benefit of the doubt not resorting to cock jokes so i chose to take it as a sarcastic statement. dick jokes are low tier.

If you were anything other than a thick Gringo I am sure Ian would have given you the benefit of doubt.

SPARTA BM confirms we have brought Carriço in primarily as a CDM.

Thank fcuk for that.

Bye Legs!!

how tall is carrico? i seem to remember him being only 5'10 or so. were going to miss ledge's imposing size and strength in the midfield. if only he could oxf*rd pass he would still be of use to us!

I think he's 1.81cm, around 5'11" I think.

Not big enough for a CB which concerns me, especially if playing alongside maps. Fine for a CDM though.

Yeah so it's fine.

From what I hear (nothing special mind) that's not his best position, but still. If anyone can get someone to play a certain way it's Brian.

That doesn't necessarily mean that he'll drop Leigertwood. I don't think that Carrico will be ready to play for us until the end of the month anyway, given the limited number of games he's played recently.

Good to have him on board though, fingers crossed the move works out.

The former - I have it on good authority from a very talented Portuguese speaker.

Royal91 Get him straight in against Crawley.

Won't happen. He doesn't even turn up until Thursday. McDermott has said he'll need to see him in training for a while first too. He *might* make the bench for West Brom.

Well if he's worse than L,wood then I would seriously question the clubs transfer and scouting policy!

Secondly the calls to drop L,wood have been going on for the past 10 games!

Woodcote Royal As it's pantomime time, Oh Yes It Is!!!

This mentality is all part of the RFC Wrist Slitters Charter.

If the asking price was still £15m we wouldn't get a sniff even if we were prepared to break the bank.

Yet, having paid the Premiership equivalent of 2 sets of kit for a player with these credentials, we can always rely on some of the same fans who got trampled in the stampede to trash the signings of players such as Dave Kitson, to be here with their firemens hoses pooring cold water on it.

It's a bit of reality, that's all.

Like you said, if he was seen as a £15m player by either his selling club, other potential suiters or those clubs that were reportedly interested in him in the past then we wouldn't have had a chance of signing him for £600k.

Hopefully he's got the ability to improve our side and live up to some of the potential that generated that interest a couple of years ago. I'm still a bit surprised we've used up one of the 25 spots in the squad on a player with no experience of English football when McDermott's been saying for the last few weeks how we need more Premier League experience.

Portuguese sports commentator they had bbc berks for the spurs game was saying Carreesoo

Aidy kept saying "So it's pronounced Carriso" and the could hear the guy smirk as he said "Yes, that's it"

I'm going to go with Carreeso being acceptable for an anglican tongue based on that.

heard brian say he was versatile and could play in 3 positions.
slightly worried if hes for CDM- portuguese bloke on talk sport said that was not his best position, as he isnt good enough on the ball.
also said hes no way near match fit after only playing a few matches

still a very good purchase though. to get the ex sporting captain, who played europa league last year for half a mil is gr8 business
