Last gasp 2-1 win for us having been given a real scare by Crawley. Looking forward to getting on a terrace again though!

I was going to go to this one, only live a few miles away, but i've got a quarter final to play in of some random amateur cup.
This means we'll probably cane them, and i'll miss out on all the booze!
I hope Obita get's a game too, save Kebe for the league.
Anderson; Cummings, Harte, Gorkss, Mariappa; Obita, McCleary, Tabb, Carrico; Hunt, Le Fondre
3-1 to us.

royal_ross After last season's shambles vs Stevenage I'm not taking Crawley lightly! Does Scott Davies still play there? He was a promising youngster when he was here, shame it never worked out for him.

Scott Davies was released at the start of the week according to the local rag down here,

Hopefully we don't take this game too lightly can see us getting a 3-1 and a bit of a confidence boost for the lads

steve leake
eddiegrundy Was at the Crawley v Colchester match on Saturday, and although they won 3-0 against a very poor Colchester side, Crawley really didn't impress, and there was nothing much on display for Reading to worry about. Billy Clarke was the best of an average bunch. For free kicks they liked to position men well off-side for second phase advantage and it worked for their first goal.

Nice friendly Club though. Didn't spot Sir Steve.

Christmas gets you like that doesn't it? The days just roll into one.

OK, nice friendly club except for you.

2-0 to Reading, playing 4-5-1.

And we need to play 4-5-1 to learn how to play it properly. Take the sting out of the game completely and pick them off on the break.

3-1 away win. Hope we learned lessons from the Stevenage game last year.

Am expecting a couple of fringe players to get a game, and firmly expect a solid 3-1 win. A few quid on at 18s to back up my confident shout.

Pog, Guthrie and Legs likely to be rested according to BM. (Legs slight knock).

I think Crawley have a great chance tbf. Hopefully we'll go 4-4-2. Really don't fancy us at 4-5-1.

Hope you enjoy your day in Crawley. I think we'll get at least a replay and would predict 1-1. Crowd of about 5700. (which will be a record)

Pitch might play in our favour as it's a bit sandy/bobbly though shouldn't be as heavy as for last 2 home games.

If you like to combine an early pie and pint, this should interest you - http://www.crawleytownfc.com/news/artic ... 91208.aspx

For those driving, avoid parking in K2 (opposite) or on the verges of the A23. Reasonable amount of on-street parking within a 15 minute walk plus the club parking and 2 nearby business parks, but arrive early for the latter.

Reading win followed by a mass wrist slitting by HNA? members who would love nothing more than to see us fail.

Certainly not, just confidence we can actually out pass a team in league 1!
