As a fan of LFC i was never arrogant. Just thought we were fortunate to watch a great team. I always knew it wouldnt last forever. Still think we are better than most and i enjoy going the game. Some people take football rivalries far to seriously though. My attitude is go the game and try to enjoy it. If your team wins then great. If not there is always next time. My attitude might change if we really struggled and maybe got relegated. I wont know unless it happens .And im not arrogant enough to think it could never happen.

I don't think the players will really care about the other stuff with Suarez as they're all a pretty immoral bunch. All they'll see is how well he's played. He might not get the 'black vote' though.

I know he's no longer a player but Gary Neville had him in his team of the season so far and he's not naturally going to be his biggest fan.

I think Neville is an excellent pundit. Probably because he was very recently part of a winning dressing room. It makes his opinions very relevant. He knows what it takes. I thought the same when Alan Hansen first started out. Most people only remember his you win nothing with kids comment about United which came back to bite him but he spoke a lot of sense back then. The test for Neville as a pundit will be in a few years when all the players he played with and against have retired. For now i think he is the best on television.

I'd go along with that, AK. The problem the BBC has is that it's not nearly as ruthless as the football clubs themselves. If it was then Lawrenson, Hansen and probably Lineker himself would have been out years ago. Goes for ITV too, and to a lesser extent Sky.

Lawrenson is like a cancer, every time he opens his mouth it's a LOLocaust, and if it's anything LOLiverpooLOL-related he's more biased than Ahmedinajad commenting on jews.

I agree he is a tit m8. But i dont think he is biased towards Liverpool. He always snipes at us and you will find most of us h8 him because of it. Hansen on the other hand has never forgot we signed him when nobody else was interested and his love of Liverpool always shines through. I think my post above about Gary Neville (very unpopular around these parts) shows i can put aside club rivalries and give an honest opinion about someone (dont like him much though).
