.. a full NL program today - weather permitting - there are still a few odd one's not fully dried out and the 'usual suspects' locally, may leave it late to declare.

... news from earlier pitch inspections, suggest that a lot of hard work has been successful in getting games ON.

Will update if I get the chance later but 'Dad's Taxis' fully operational again today - so highly unlikely! :|

I think you will find that Saturday was Guernsey's first league match since 1st December when they defeated Windsor at Footes Lane. Their fixture congestion look awful. And the win for Windsor v Dorking makes things very interesting.

... just looked up their re-drafted fixture schedule and they now have 10 league games in March, including three lots of Fri / Sun pairs - which also continue on into April.

...I'm assuming they'll have to make the most of their large squad?

Sling in the trials of an ongoing Vase run, with even more travelling and they have quite a mountain to climb.

Then again South Park are in a similar position - not having played since Dec 1st - only 16 league games played to date (got as far as the 4th Qualifying Round of the FA Cup too - which with a couple of replays involved 9 ties) - BUT at least they've now gone out of the Vase (to Guernsey's opponents in the next round Rye Utd)

Windsor only 5 points from 2nd in the CCL. Given the fixture congestion that a number of clubs face, what odds on a top 2 finish? I would much rather have the points in the bag than face the prospect of 3-4 games per week for however long.

How many teams are promoted from the CCL?

The Conference South has a bit of a farcical look to it right now with nearly all the teams in a heap on similar points. Just 9 points covers 5th to 21st last time i looked

Would be quite ironic if Windsor FC profit from the overspending of Windsor and Eton FC on the pitch. Pretty sure the money spent on the pitch is near enough what was owed in tax! :D

Cannot see 2nd place myself but then i thought a real scrap was going to happen! Not sure the club is mature enough to be outside of the CCL right now so certainly not a 'need' for promotion. Would be hard to play players not being paid in the leagues above.

Only the champions normally but this season there is a chance of the 2nd place team being promoted.

Non league prices are a huge rip of in the 'higher' leagues as i've said before. £12 is the same price as Reading in the FA Cup v Sheffield United than Basingstoke vs some other small town! It's madness!
