Season tickets 2013/14

by Harpers So Solid Crew » 06 Jan 2013 11:22

into Jan now, anyone think RFC should offer ST at the same price as last year, say till the end of Feb?

We keep hearing that ticket money is peanuts, so it would be great to reward the fans with a really good offer asap.

Don't think I'm going to renew next season. Just try and pick a few matches that I can make it to instead of begging for swaps/annual leave every other week.

The club are stuck at the moment. If we stay(ed) up then you can bet there would be a price increase, but going back down means a possible price freeze or perhaps a reluctant slight deduction. I'd be surprised if there's an announcement on prices before March.

I'd snap their arm off though if they offer the £395 renewal and £99 for kids again.

They'll try and be as clever as they can with this and announce it after our next positive result, especially if that's West Brom.

Would hope prices would stay at around £400 if we went back down.

If we're still 5 points from safety I think they'll leave it as long as possible before announcing.

I'm going to wait until the end of the season before buying personally. If they are offered before we potentially get relegated they will be at the same full price as this year (£525) and there's not a chance I'll pay that with the prospect of watching Championship football. If we get relegated then the prices will inevitably come down and I would have thought £400ish (a slight increase on last years price for renewal) would be about right.

One thing we can't really moan about is the price of ST's as Reading fans. There's just no way they'll do what you're suggesting & say £525 right off the bat when we're likely to go down.

My guess is earlybirds will be offered renewals at about £400-£425. Can't see how they can get away with anything else.

They can have my money now if they want it, especially if it's the £350 I paid last year

Rumpole OUT for this. I've too long been addicted to turning up to watch the same shit every week with the same old shitcunts sat round me, despising myself for not having the mental strength to stop going, despite hating 4 out of 5 visits - queueing in bus fumes, long train journeys, Saturdays wasted standing around with a bunch of pissed up fools who think it's the height of wit to scream 'pull your socks up Jimmy' every time Kebe gets the ball.

It was, genuinely, one of my new years resolutions not to renew this year. Tenner says I don't kick the habit, though.

oxf*rd off then!

Depends on money. If it's reasonable prices I can afford then yes, if not then no.

£395 - IN
£450 - Possibly, as long as kids prices are £99 again
£500+ Championship = Definitely out, PL = I will see. Not sure I can justify mine and children's tickets at £7-800+ totals.

^this . Got my kids tickets for £99 so won't pay much more than that plus a possible increase with mine. £650 max for the three or I'm out.
