Carrico, a proven player at champions league level and looks to so far have lost none of his talent if you watch the XI highlights on player despite not being played for so long, at £600 that was an absolute steal! Kelly has proven himself at this level for years and seems to be less accident prone than Gunter. thats 2 out of 3 signings I'd call great signings which could fix some of our biggest problem areas. As for Akpan he's a player for the future but you can't blame McDermott for signing him, you can't just buy for now you have to prepare for both outcomes.
