Dellor totally lost his marbles now with his ridiculous serious suggestion that McDermott should be phoning Gooding and Williams up for advice! oxf*rd me!

I'd say that asking the advice of a former player & manager who's seen 95% of Reading matches isn't exactly a ridiculous suggestion :|

In that case - might as well ask me.

Absolutely class interview with Brian tonight. Feels like the end of Rodgers era again but with longer more aggressive answers from the manager.

I thought he gave up BBC radio for a career in teaching? Assumed he was only able to do the game as it was the holidays. From what I heard of him on Sat, mainly on the way back from the game, I preferred him to Dellor.

You are correct KC...my bad, but then, recently to me, is six months ago to the rest of you

Sounded almost a seamless substitution to me (especially the scoring of the goal).

Really fed up with Dellor and Williams yesterday. Williams seems to enjoy us playing badly. Beginning to miss the bloke from 107. Listen via Reading Player so have to pay for the words of "wisdom" May have to try listening to the other teams commentary.

Not sure what you want to hear OW?, forget 107 and 210....they dropped us the minute times got hard

At 0-1 and 0-2 we were dire, and they reported it as so.

At 79 minutes Dellor was saying that we were doomed for the Championship and to forget the Prem...he was right.

When our third goal went in, Dellor went f11cking mental....he was right to do so.

After the game, he was spouting optimism, the league table backs that up right now.

So what is the problem?

I have to say I find Williams really irritating. I used to like him but gone right off him. Find him totally arrogant & bolshy on there.

yeah, I miss that warm fuzzy cosy Classic Gold reportage too

What do people really want? The likes of Talkchelseasport kissing butt most of the time (kissing Chelseas butt all of the time)?......just the pure pitchside online drawl?.......monotonus, passionless and emotionless FiveLive commentary?

Those that have been around a bit, can still remember only having the miniscule feeds from BBC Radio Oxford on an MW radio.

Tim, Mick and Ady (imho) are great listening............just check out some of the alternatives

Everyone he talks to is a "reading legend" - that saying alone irritates me!

Also had to listen to this drivel from Reading World. I normally like Tim and his commentary as it is refreshing, but he just kept going on and on about how if we didn't win we were relegated. This is BAD reporting as it's clearly not true. Sure, if we lost then it makes it harder and looks like we probably would go down, but to be fair, 3 points better and we still look like we could be relegated... Or we could be safe... Don't mind him saying that it's probable, but to state it as fact is just bad commentating. Also, he really got angry when McCleary's shot was cleared off the line, blaming him for our relegation. I was really pleased when my backup battery ran out of juice and I was plunged into darkness and silence (living in Nepal). Ironically this happened at the 79 minute mark, and I went to bed thinking we had lost. When I woke up in the morning and saw the result I was amazed!

Rawlie has pretty much summed up my annoyance. I have to pay for these idiots to spout their rubbish. In fairness Mick Gooding is fine but Adi Williams is so full of himself and telling us how great he was, I spend a lot of the match being told off for shouting at him. (and his accent really irritates me)

Then you are taking Ady far too seriously then OW....... is all that I can suggest.

He is normally taking the pi55 out of himself (with a few factual anecdotes) everytime I hear him.

Totally agree - Now he has this local radio job I think he genuinely believes he is some kind of "top DeeJay"
