Zigic used to score loads when you signed him on football manager, therefore seems the obvious choice. Come Brian don't miss out on this opportunity

redmond looks a solid prospect for the future. one that we could buy on the cheap and sell a la zaha for sure! if birmingham city are willing to sell their first team players to cut some cost we could get him real cheap and he would be a solid addition who could hit the ground running!

Ideal Butland Butland Butland

So Suddenly McCarthy isn't good enough either?! I suppose you've watched Butland as much as you've watched Duke!

Or maybe you want us to spend £7m on a keeper until McCarthy is fit again?

Ideal McCarthy might well be a future England international

Are you saying you don't want to sign Butland, a potential England international, on the cheap?

Right, can we get one thing straight, Brum need to sell, but players like Butland and Redmond will go to the highest bidder! THEY WILL NOT GO CHEAP UNLESS NO-ONE WANTS THEM, AND TEAMS WILL WANT THEM!!

If you had no money would you sell your house cheap? No, you'd sell it at the going rate.

thirtyyarder Whatever happened re. Redmond? Wasn't he mustard 8 months ago?

Started to believe his own hype.

I'd take Davies and Burke I wouldn't think twice about - exactly our type of players and would improve the side.

Ambrose I would have taken from Palace but last I saw wasn't getting a look in at Brum and I have to wonder why. Class on his day.

If Hull stay down I think we should look at Koren, again. Best player in the league this year.

Butland I cannot see coming here, other teams will be interested plus we have Feds and McCarthy.

Redmond's attitude worries me a little, but i'm sure he'd buy into it and he has quality about him. He'll also have a tonne of clubs interested, at the top end of the leagues.

Zigic? Zigic can oxf*rd off. Rather have Marlon King*

*I oxf*rd hate Marlon King.

What I remember from when he was playing in Norway was he was a lazy, moody little shit with a bad attitude, which is probably the reason he is still at hull, he's a very good player but most likely teams that are interested will check the rumours about his personality.

You might remember he joined us on the training camp in Slovenia. McDermott has tried to sign him 2/3 times IIRC.

^mostly this.

Burke, Redmond, yes. Koren also yes.
Davies, not sure. Safer bet than Sunzu though.

Why spend money in areas where we know we are OK in, (especially when McCarthy comes back) when there are plenty more areas where we obviously aren't?

Let's be honest, you don't like him because his name sounds like Qur'an.

Butland looks the best GK prospect for many a year.

If ManU are offloading De Gea they could do worse than Butland - however I think Fergie will go back to experience so seems unlikely.

I just hope that, wherever he ends up, he plays every week.

I recks he'll be Reina's replacement at Liverpool.

Absolutely have a crack at Redmond and Butland. Even if it's only to send them back out on loan and try and sell them on for a profit in the summer.

Signing Butland would be the end of Feds or Alex and almost certainly Andersen as well. Andersen needs to start playing and he won't if Butlands here. Question is would we start with Butland or would he be a bench warmer?

Does that make him the new Chris Kirkland, Scott Carson or Ben Foster then?
