Would like Davies with Gorkss moving on,giving us two athletic centre-backs and two stoppers.
As for Redmond if we give up on HRK and Obita then he might be worth going for and we would then have 4 wingers which is enough, two older ones in Jobi and Jimmy plus two younger ones in McCleary and Redmond.

If we are talking wingers Scott Sinclair might be a better option as he never plays,we know how good he can be and as long as he is one of the lesser paid at City might come to us for the chance of regular football.
Chris Burke?-no,just a run-of-the-mill Championship winger.

Ideal
maffff If Hull stay down I think we should look at Koren, again. Best player in the league this year.

What I remember from when he was playing in Norway was he was a lazy, moody little shit with a bad attitude, which is probably the reason he is still at hull, he's a very good player but most likely teams that are interested will check the rumours about his personality.

You might remember he joined us on the training camp in Slovenia. McDermott has tried to sign him 2/3 times IIRC.

No he didn't, he just happened to be at the same hotel because the Slovenia national squad was there

Don't get everyone's obsession with Butland, people suggesting he replace De Gea or Reina this window are hilarious, too good for Reading? He'd be third choice, average keeper who did well in the lower leagues but has now been found out at a reasonable level. If he wasn't English he'd be Kasper Schmeichel.

Davies and Redmond are the only ones that would interest me, Ambrose has been poor for a long time now and Palace were pleased to get rid of him. Burke is decent but won't improve our current squad and I can't see any of our wingers leaving whichever division we end up in next season. Redmond needs to start performing again though and I think Birmingham will still charge an inflated price for him that he's not worth on this seasons showing.

Damn straight, would still take Redmond though. McD will sort him out.

Davies and Burke would be great signings. IMO Davies is the best defender in the Championship, and Burke is one of the best wingers.

Redmond is a cracking player, not sure we'd be the right move for him though.

We don't need King, but I'd strongly prefer him to Zigic.

I don't know why Brum haven't been using Ambrose more, but I'd take him if there's no underlying reason. Would be the attacking midfielder we need.

Big NO to Butland. Federici is better, McCarthy is much better. We don't need an expensive third choice goalkeeper. LOL at the thought of us "selling him for a profit"- if we sign him and don't use him, we won't be able to sell him as easily.

Who's this Butland lad and why's he closer to the England squad than McCarthy?

He played for Team GB in the Olympics and, I think, has been already named in an England squad.

Birmingham City's goalkeeping coach, Dave Watson, is an England coach.

Promote your own from inside to raise the profile!!!

If all these players are so good, why are they lying 20th in the Championship??

It's Birmingham's new tactic. Trying to do a bigger Reading than us.

Because they don't fit together well as a team. Because the rest of the team is shit. Because they're badly managed. Any of those for a start. Poor League position doesn't mean no good players, anyone thinking it does is simple.

Reading have enquired about Redmond and Davies.

More likely to get Davies than Redmond but both would be facking amazing!

McDermott revealed a number of moves could be completed before the window shuts on Thursday.

Like the sound of that, unless he's just taken up breakdancing.

He's just playing it down. We've enquired about him and Redmond. Just a case of for the right money or not.

Redmond would be a superb signing, but can't imagine us getting him.

Always thought he looked much better playing against us than Zaha.

I'm not ITK. I just post up links to what's said elsewhere. You should give @west4street a follow. He's the only genuine ITK I'm aware of on Twitter, and if he does pass anything on then it is very reliable. Anything I post is already in the media or I link to source. Never once have I claimed otherwise.

Probably shouldn't post things like the quote from you above then. Because it reads that you know what you've said is true, rather than that it's media and twatter speculation. Which as we know is sooooooooooooooooooooo reliable.
