Can't believe he's sent him off. Hope the ballboy gets sacked as well.

Hazard shown a red card after kicking a ball boy who was trying to slow things down a bit by laying on the ball.

Does this mean he'll miss the game against us?

Pepe the Horseman Can't believe he's sent him off.

Really? So next time an away crowd holds on to the ball we can expect players wading in dish out a few blows?

0:15.

Even if the ballboy is being an arse, you can't do that. Would be a red card against a player, so it's a red card in this instance. Not sure why the likes of Robbie Savage on Twitter are defending Hazard.

That all said - why aren't we using multi-ball, to speed the game up and avoid incidents like this?

Reminds me of Gerard Lavin getting sent off for booting the ball into the crowd at Elm Park.

You're right! Wasn't quite as long ago as I thought.

The ballboy's Twitter a/c at 5.30 said he was going to the game to do his normal job and finished it #timewaster.

Or something like that. Apparently.

You can't do what Hazard did of course but I feel sorry for him.

The usual twatfaces on TalkSport like Goldstein and Saggers trying to whip up more of a storm with hysterical rants about Hazard attacking the ball boy and that he should be banned for a very long time.

Give it a fcuking rest.

It was a deserved red for violent conduct and he should get the usual three match ban. But agreed there is no more to it than that, not like he was battering him with an advertising hoarding, or shrieking like a ninja.
