tomrfcurzURZZSKY SOURCES: Reading have made a bid of between £7-8 million for Thomas Ince.
See this from some Reading fan on Twitter? Nothing on SSN or the Sky Clockwatch
I did indeed. Just thought I'd share it.

royaldownunderBristol Paul Never, ever in a million years. About 1 in 100 of the rumours on this forum happen......and he's chose relegation battling Reading when theres a hope of joining Liverpool wouldn't he? LOLOLOLOL
It's Liverpool that are apparently wavering on the deal… they're not prepared to pay 8m on a player they let go for 500,000.
It does sound unlikely, but we did admit to being interested in Arseshavings and Arsepass for 8m too, so maybe AZ does have some of his dads money stuffed under the mattress to spend on the right player?

jellytot I have been going on a bit that we should spend significantly now (and make no apologies for doing
So, either we aspire to be in the pl in which case we must compete in the transfer windows or want to behave like a championship club). However, even I would be concerned
If we spent £8M on a promising young talent but untested at PL level.
I would like to see us sign someone with proven class in the pl whom we know will deliver.
Ince would be a good signing but for me £8m is ridiculous. £3 TO £4m maybe.
Someone will beat us to his signature anyway. HARRY is on the prowl.

So you STILL think that spending big guarantees success and / or is the only route to PL survival.
How quaint.

Lovely hot donuts! I would wet myself with excitement if we got Ince but:
a) not sure he's quite worth £7m
b) we would never pay £7m ever.

Blakey's Right Peg Surely if they were willing to accept a deal in installments Liverpool would have done this a while ago?

They don't want to pay 8m for a player they sold for £500,000

Probably not all in one go, but I'm sure they wouldn't be particularly bothered if it was in installments.
