I rarely go and watch Reading play nowadays as I don't agree that I should be paying Premier League prices when there isn't Premier League investment. A sign of intent that RFC are willing to invest some serious money would make me reconsider my feelings on attending matches.

Its free advertising. They want to increase the fanbase, they get airtime on ssn and can be seen to be mixing it with the big boys and so the kidz will be more likely to start paying them attention. Its a business and don't ever forget it

Same here and I don't expect it to be the same next year - but even so price for ST wasn't that bad really, no higher than it was in 2006, which is pretty good given inflation etc.
