Other than the Sunzu saga, think that'll be it for us this window. Certainly won't spend 7m on Ince now

This is a weird one.

McLeod, McGoldrick, Baxter. Three league 1 players who I have seen play this season who I think will bring more than what this lad will bring.

Only time will tell I suppose. But hardly inspiring is it, especially when the strikers we currently have aren't doing so bad - considering the chances they tend to get, the majority they take. In Brian we trust

Anyone have any recollections of how he did at Blackburn when he was there?

I assumed he meant Connor MacLeod, of the Clan MacLeod.

I, for one, am pleased that we're resuming the practice of buying players who impress against us, and hope that it works as well as it did when we bought Scott Murray and Paul Brooker.

Wasn't Scott Murray in the league below us at the time?

HNA? were desperate for him and he had just scored 20 goals or so from midfield.

Murray was great for ages at Bristol City before we bought him (and he wasn't) and Brooker didn't get close to 14 goals by January..

Was does Dave Kitson think of Blackman? Does he think the lad can cut it in the top flight with the Royals?

Hmm, so it looks a Hunt replacement he could well be. Guess we're just waiting for a medical and personal terms to be sorted, can't really see any way this won't happen (unless Portsmouth get up to their tricks again :D )

I'm surprised how many are complaining about a lack of ambition on this one. With Church off, Hunt and Roberts free in the summer (no contract offered yet), it's a good thing to get one replacement in now, and even if we stay up, we can't realistically spend millions on three new strikers, as well add to the squad elsewhere.

I love these young and hungry players; plus this one looks to have quite a bit about him. Very happy to bring him in if we get him.

agreed, hard to see why people have a problem with this one to be honest.

'Greed Troy.

Sadly most will be more than happy to write him off before even seeing him play.
