Adam Le Fondre - Could he be gone tomorrow?

by Mike Hunt » 30 Jan 2013 22:00

So, do you think someone will try and come in for him? I am quietly worried.

Hopefully the club will refuse any offers.

Anyone can bid if they want. No way we'll sell.

maffff No </thread>

Roll your eyes all you want bro. Stranger things have happened.

You think if someone came in with a £6 million bid the club would not seriously consider it?

He may not like to be called a super sub, but he is. He cannot start up top by himself. Clubs have seen his heroics, and may want that option coming off the bench.

I think the club would say "oxf*rd off, we don't need to sell and we don't have time to find a replacement".

I would be very amazed if that is even considered a possibility by the bosses, in any case you won't get Le Fondre cheap, he is making himself an expensive target for any takers, his present value ???? £7-8m ?? anyone agree or disagree ??

i think that's a slight over-valuation, but 5mil wouldn't be far off the mark

I think it's an under-valuation, between him being English and Hammond's negotiation stick, I think we're looking at £10m.

Considering we used to sing "Darius Henderson, he's worth 10 million"... Alf must be worth double - with inflation & all that

If we DID sell him, we'd be wanting to loan him back for the rest of the season anyway

...or at least loan him to us for the last 20 minutes of every match
