Don't believe everything you read in the papers.

I recall Pog's wages being variously reported as anything from £35k pw to £65k pw.

Harry might be as mad as a box of frogs but even he isn't daft enough to pay Samba £100k pw.

Harry might not be but Fernandes is. Also worth noting that the players who have left Cisse, Barton and Ferdinand. Are having at least half there wages payed by Rangers.

Ian Royal Let's hope Mr Fernandes hasn't been doing anything naughty to get his money and doesn't have his assets frozen or get into trouble with bad people and have to withdraw his support. Or QPR could blow up faster than Pompey.

Deary me, do you write for Jackanory.

If it's in the paper it must be true, eh.

Like TF/HR are going to disclose a deal to some two bob reporter from the sun, and for the record, we're not paying any of Cisse's wages.

That could happen to a whole host of clubs - any where the money comes from an overseas owner and there's no clear knowledge of how they got their money or whether it was obtained wholly legitimately.

Remember the story about people in glass houses?

OK - the Jermaine Jenas rumours really have to be a joke, right?

Samba joins on £100k a week. How much do those 16,000 fans pay to get in ? How else can they afford it ? Financial fair play, my ars*.

I look forward to hearing that it can't be that high/previous club are paying his wages/make it all back in shirt sales.

Tbh Tredds it aint all bad news for you; when QPR inevitably go the way of Pompey you can always come and watch your local team play.

Serious question:- when your new manager comes in and tells the press you are overpaid and a bit shit, and then goes out and spunks 100,000 a week on another player when you have to struggle by on 60k.....are you likely to be more or less motivated to work for him and each other?

To be fair he is not good with numbers. Or letters. He is good at spending money though.

To be honest, if there is one man capable of spending all QPR's trillions and sending them into bankruptcy, it's Harry. Still unlikely though.

So RattLOLed he doesn't understand that I was just randomly musing rather than saying there was any reality to that.

I had to LOL at Tredds on Twitter yesterday. His first Tweet said he would not be Tweeting all day (some transfer deadline day reason), then he must have posted over 200 Tweets by 11pm. The last one I saw was him praising his chairman and the new signings and having a pop at the Reading owners for ‘making money out of the club’ for not making any. Unbelievable.
