Must admit, I was fairly disappointed with the reception Senior got to be honest. I clapped him even though I never saw him play (being a fan since 2001) have heard about him, same as Friday. A few fans in R31 were clapping but then again most were bloody moaning throughout the game. Glad to get back to the North Stand for Saturday even if its still rubbish it's better than the dreaded South!

Alfie is a class act. Massive LOL at some of you NOBbers who were saying he isnt Premier League quality. Natural instinctive goalscorers are a rare breed, and given the chances they will always get you goals, no matter what league your in.

If ALF isnt PL quality then neither is Pogrebnyak, who's shots to goals ratio might suggest he is a russian Messi, but you only need to watch a few of our games to realise he is gash, whereas Alfie can offer much more to the team creatively (in terms of build/link up play) and goalscoring.

Are you suggesting Alf could play up front on his own?..BS, Pog is the only man for that role, he holds it up and links up play very well, if the chances are not being created he won`t score simple, its when we switch to 4-4-2 with Alf coming off the bench when we look much more dangerous.
