Question Mark Mcdermott has fallen asleep next to his phone
by Royal Rother » 31 Jan 2013 23:15
Simon's Church The let down of today has ruined my season tbh. Whether we stay up or not is pretty much immaterial to me now.

howser Whether or not it filters through that we have taken someone, the effective news "blackout" from the club is very frustrating, McDermott continually talks about how the team rely on the fans to lift them, I can't think of any other Premiership club that hasn't been mentioned all day apart from Reading, IMO the output from the club is as poor as it has ever been. When are they going to realise that to be in this Premiership you have to outlay some serious cash, we have been spoonfed several players Arshavan, Ince, Chezney, Sunzu to name a few but again we have been let down by skinflint negotiating, when are we going to wake up and smell the roses, we have just gone down the same route that we did in our second Premiership season last time.
We are never going to match the top Premiership clubs but with our fan base and the "wealth" of the owner we should at least be actively competing with the mid table level clubs. What is the standard Transfer Window saying " We tried to do some business but it wasn't possible in the time given" All in all very sad really, the "lack of ambition" qoutes will no doubt re-appear now, justafiably in some respects.

Avon RoyalRoyal Rother I love the way we do business. If the deal's not right, don't do it.
Those who consider that policy brings failure and embarrassment to the club and its fans have a warped view of the world.
Yet those are the people that will go to Ipswich next season while you sit on your fat arse on your sofa spouting arrogant bullshit.
