Reading v Chelsea FanCam

by PieEater » 01 Feb 2013 13:06

I'm not really a social networking person but the camera view/zoom is pretty impressive.

It's amazing anyone notice there is a Reading fan facebook user in the Chelsea section?

I assume it took around 6 minutes to take the picture, as the clock says 5:55 but the players are still waiting to kick off.

Interesting how different parts of the crowd are looking at different parts of the pitch! For example, in Y25/26, where I'm sat behind the wall we're looking at the North end of the pitch, whereas Y24 are looking towards the south end!

Not really that surprising. We saw the chap taking the pictures and it took about 10 minutes. he took loads of individual ones and I guess he has some softweare to stictch them all together.

Been a while since I've been to the Mad Stad, but right infront of the normal camera, why are there electric sponsorboards that are covered over by big plastic boards... (The Barclays ones)

Seems a little excessive... if they're not even being used. :P

Our secret is out -

2 Brian McDermotts...there's only 2 Brian McDermotts.

But only 1FSW. Sitting there digesting an enormo pie judging by the pendulous gut.

Was the game officiated by only a 4th official?

Also, special prize for whoever identifies the missing Reading player.

Kebe...I want my prize!!! :D

Back on topic...I'm really disappointed with this, was made out to be a lot better than it actually is...if you weren't sat in y20-24, its not a very good picture.
I was expecting/hoping for the photographer to take pics of each section standing in front of it and then moving around....maybe I have high expectations though

Also, Nicky Hammond isn't paying any attention...more interested in either
a) playing angry birds
b) checking other scores
c) emailing/texting spurs/blackpool to talk about Sigurdsson/Ince
d) watching porn

He is.

I still don't understand why they went to the trouble of removing the officials.

You never specifically specified which player it was though 8) Therefore I claim the win by default!

If you point the camera right down at the ground and zoom in as far as possible you get a freaky blue mosaic effect.
