I wasn't going to do this, rather nonplussed by the 'big' teams. But it's worked out very conveniently for me so I'm now In.

I quite like the games that mean I have to take two days off and have a night over.

Was in, but now out. Even though I live in Manchester, I just simply can't justify spending £45 + travel (only a fiver granted) on going to watch a game a football that I could see on the tele, especially when I'm going to watch the exact same fixture, at the exact same ground only a month later.

I've finally got myself out of the red and into the black, and silly jaunts like this would be have been a definite yes in previous months, but considering I have £50 to last the next week or so, before going back into my overdraft, I feel like it'd be a silly move.

I'm going to Stoke, Wigan, Everton and then United, so it's not as if I'm going to be missing out..

do you think they will put us all the way in the top of that massive stand or will we get the bottom corner by the pitch?

LOL @ £45 for this you robbing b@stards, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask. Good to see RFC sticking up for the fans.

MUFC: "Yeah its £45"
RFC: "Oooh. That's quite steep for a Monday ngiht tv game miles from home"
MUFC: "Pffff, we don't care"
RFC: "Ok then"

I don't think Man Yoo need £45 of my hard-earned. Lucky the missis's dad's second team is Man Yoo and he's bought us tickets in the home end, so I won't be spending a penny on admission to watch us certainly lose.

Potential spin-off thread: What is your partner's dad's second team?

We have got the bottom corner according to my ticket. The same area that we would get allocated for league games.

Going to try and get 3 tickets for this when it goes to Member Cards in the morning, although I assume when it says the 9th it means about 8am and not 00:01 tonight?

I assume we haven't sold our allocation, the club have been rather quiet about how many tickets have been sold!

2 more here.
Unhappy at price but as an over-indulgent mother I couldn't live with denying my baby the chance of a cup game.

Cheap Newcastle tickets played a part as well.

That's actually quite depressing we've sold as many as 1000. I was hoping 90% of Reading fans would be put off, better to have a tiny support there if people want to shout out against ticket prices after all.

cool.
i payed £35 which i consider to be around the right price for the match.
last season i payed £30 for derby away which i find to be much more outrages.

See where you are coming from, but I am impressed with the support of that much-maligned group, the Reading fanbase. Monday night, on telly, day and a half off work, £45 to watch us lose. Hats off.

In for this - work will be paying for me to get there and back and to stay up there though.

Having never been to OT before, where will people be drinking beforehand?
