RoyalBlue Wimb Can see why we've abstained, the rules are pretty flawed and basically sustain the status quo while removing the possibility of another Portsmouth situation embarrassing the Premier League.
So show some balls, vote against them and then explain why you have done it.
Abstaining is now much different from not bothering to vote in political elections and then moaning about the result later - in my mind, the cowards way out.
Without knowing the specifics it's hard to judge.
As I've mooted, perhaps we were generally happy that some regulation was coming in but didn't want to actively support it because of lack/over restriction. Maybe the other owners said it's this or nothing in which case it's better to let it go through under a protest by abstaining, rather than rejecting it outright and possibly being left with nothing.
