Can't argue with that performance at all.

Just need to hope that United will be as shit for the league game.

there seemed to be a lot of fouls that the ref ignored. i hate playing big teams. im curious to see a better look of the handball in the box.

Play with that passion, and intensity yes, but if we play LIKE that we are going down

Great effort, no shame in that result - the lads worked hard throughout, and whilst individuals will always be slated on here, all in all couldn't have asked for any more from them.

I`m pretty pissed he didn`t bring on pog for the last 10 minutes, at least he could have got in Vidic`s face a bit but I don`t get surprised by Brians subs anymore.

Solid performance, but I'm glad there's no replay. Tonight really wasn't needed. We looked absolutely knackered for that last 25 minutes, and Saturday against Wigan is what matters most! "Why didn't we bring Pog on?" Why risk such an important player when it's the league that matters most? Hopefully for those that will play on Saturday, tonight wont have taken too much out of them. A win against Wigan is an absolute must!

ZacNaloen Morrison can come out of this with his head held high tbf, had a good game.

Damn right. Who would have thought, earlier in the season, that we'd now have three centre-backs in form and deserving of a start?

Very decent performance against an under-par united. Hopefully a modest boost to our morale ahead of the biggest game of the season so far.

Well done team. You can really hold your heads up. Quality told, but we really ran them close and made them work for it. It's not often you'll see the Utd players trying to g-up the Old Trafford crowd 68 minutes into a match to help get them going. We out played them for stretches of the first half. But even our fitness wasn't good enough to out last them and they just started to exert the pressure. Fergie knew his stuff and wouldn't settle for 1-0 where we still had a good chance.

Genuinely great performance from us. Just looked a little light in attack down the right and didn't have quite enough up top to seriously threaten Utd. ALF drifted in and out and had a couple of good shots. Hunt is fooking immense in disguise. He's so fit and tough. Feds? Well virtually a faultless performance. And I don't think he really could have done much with either goal. Was so hoping he'd equalise, that would have been a 100/10 performance then.

Was really worried by 4-4-2, but credit to McDermott he's really got us playing much better than when we last played it against Arsenal.

Disagree Zac, not many Prem team's will punish us the way Utd did and we had a few chances still.

phil in cornwall Who is the 2nd commentator on ESPN? After 7 minutes said we could be 3 down ....??? Geordie accent .... keeps calling us Reddun.

That's because Geordies are thick and don't realise that you can't score two goals from the same phase of play!
