SPARTA Cardiff 0 - 2 Brighton

#choke

Malky Mccay was on SSN in the afternoon saying it would be great to have a Welsh derby in the prem... Lets hope that doesn't come back to haunt him. :D

Quite a passionate thread on their board about fans 'Embracing the Red' and how it doesn't feel like their club any more

I actually felt quite sorry for genuine Cardiff fans after seeing the highlights of the Brighton match..
The stands were full of Red and it's another example of the gimp infestation that has taken place in British football stadiums

That said, if they blow it from here then it will be a very impressive and lolsworthy choke!!

Got to feel sorry for them, look at how much of a stink there is on here about the width and number of hoops on our shirts when they release a new kit. To have the kit completely changed and your entire club rebranded must be horrible.

And they're understandably not happy about it either:

Cardiff have 12 games left.
Watford (3rd) have 11 left.
Cardiff have either a 7, 8 or 10 point gap depending on Tuesday.

Cardiff remaining 12:
Derby County (H) - More than likely winnable
Leicester City (H) - Leicester is fifth and could use 3 points
Sheffield Wednesday (A) - Just above relegation with 40 pts. Another win?
Peterborough United (A) - The Posh need 3 points to get out of the relegation zone
Blackburn (H) - Mid table, winnable (?)
Watford (A) - Could close the gap a bit if Watford come away with 3
Barnsley (H) - Just above the drop right now
Nottingham Forest (H) - 4 points behind playoffs now, could be tighter in a few weeks.
Charlton (H) - Lower-mid. Winnable.
Burnley (A) - Winnable
Bolton (H) - Might go on to get close to sixth by then. Not an easy game.
Hull (A) - Last game. Currently in second. Strong at home

My favourite Cardiff choke has to be the season they were top at the beginning of March only to miss out of the playoffs completely when they lost 5-0 to Preston on the last day when a 4-0 defeat would have still been good enough.
