SPARTAMaguireSPARTA Brian can't afford a slow start next season if we go down. He will be under a lot of pressure to get us back up at the first attempt.
Thanks Captain Obvious
Well many here seem to think the bloke has a job for life.

Ian Royal Same as once he made it to January. He's got until at least November 2013.

Watching the Swansea final yesterday, the thought did cross my mind.

Extended-Phenotype Of course Pearce has been an improvement. His return coincided with new found stability at the back and a decent run of points. His absence coincided with us returning to the defensive form which sees us get slated on MoTD.
Guthrie hasn’t set the world alight, but his inclusion has seen us carve out more chances, retain the ball better and forge a more positive shape. Subtle effects but positive nonetheless, as demonstrated by our results.
It may not translate well for the highlight TV generation, but both Pearce and Guthrie’s contribution have obviously been positive.
It’s a fine line between a struggling and a functioning team; for a moment there we had hit on the right recipe. The biggest failure of McD so far is throwing that recipe in the bin and deploying some bizarre starting 11’s.
Like it or not, McD needs to realise he needs his whole squad if Reading are to stay up – he cannot afford the luxury of pettiness.

super darren caskey Dont like the way he keeps dropping players when he (supposedly)falls out with them
He should be doing whats best for the club and that is playing the best players if they are fit.
