Jackson Corner If we play like we did against Wigan 4-0 Everton. If we play at our very best 3-0 to Everton.

No need for Reading to fear Everton. After a good start to the season they have struggled in the league of late. I think its about 5 months since they won a league game by more than one goal which shows its very rare they give a team a good hiding. They have lost the last 2 games in the league including at Norwich were they were leading 1 - 0 after 85 mins. I think they may edge it by the odd goal but you certainly have a chance of getting a point.

He is in the squad. Late fitness test but is expected to play unfortunately.

Cannot wait to see the team for this. These forums may well explode if Alex Pearce doesn't play.

A far more spirited performance, but alas, a defeat

What concerns me is the starting formation. I doubt that we will keep Everton out.
Therefore how will we create the chances or enough chances to score?

4-5-1 seems difficult without the pog or roberts as ALF cannot do that role. Hunt could
But lacks the quality for me at pl level. Could try Blackman which would be to much to ask.
So prob 4-4-2 then. A formation we struggle with due to a lack
Of quality in there plus our back 4 gets exposed.. Must play it though what else can we do? unless unfit bm's favourite leig will play :0( so who with him? Akpan , guthrie or jobi (other fav)?
Think Akpan has the drive from midfield and will battle it out more than guthrie.
Guthrie is in detention again it seems. Would not be surprised to see jobi.. Which i think is wrong in 4-4-2 in the prem!! Lol! Akpan for me with alf and hunt or blackman up top.

If they score first we will lose big time. Think 2 or 3 nil defeat likely we are just lacking all over. Need 4 points from next 2 or our fate is sealed.

0-0 but it will feel like it should have been 5 or so for Everton and we'll have been lucky to have had a clear cut scoring chance.

They haven't won a league game by more than one goal? In rush Reading to politely role over.

0-0 but chances at both ends. Goalkeepers in fine form.
