Taylor to play a blinder and rescue us a point, before following up his debut with utter dross. I remember Mannoane making an outstanding debut for Arsenal once.

MmmMonsterMunch I actually stuck up for him when he first signed as others were saying he smelt like trouble. He's then gone on to act like a tw@t for most of the season!

I really feel he came to Reading giving it the biggun "Look at me midfield dynamo with PL experience", expecting to be the big fish in the small pond & it's spectacularly backfired.

Just out of curiosity, how exactly has Guthrie acted a tw@t most of the season?

Errr stupid tweets, refusing to travel off the top of my head?

Errr..He apologised for his unprofessionalism. That was months ago. Move on

old woman
RoyalinBracknell BBC Berks having a nightmare today. They spend time asking why Andersen isn't playing when he's not in the 25 man squad and then ask why Henley is when he's under the age of 21. They should know all this.

(And now Ady Williams has just laughed when a texter has challenged his lack of knowledge!)

Can I say this has really pissed me off today. Tim Dellor gives us a ton of crap statistics but has no knowledge of this.
Living out of the area, I have to pay to listen to these pillocks.
Daughter threatening to show me the red card.

Agreed. I recall before the Chelsea game a few weeks ago Dellor was going on about how we'd never won a Premier League game on a Wednesday or something (failing to mention the fact that 3 of those previous matches had been against Chelsea!) The day on which the match is played is hardly of any relevance is it? Maybe he should spend more time making sure he's informed about things that matter rather than trawling through fairly meaningless statistics.

Royal Lady I don't reckon Guthrie will play for us again. What a fooking waste.

TBH he seems like a bit of a bell. No great loss.

He split the fans at Newcastle but the majority appeared to want him to stay last summer, as did Pardew. Who needs a decent experienced Premiership midfielder when you've got Mikkel Leigertwood and Jem Karacan.

Exactly This^^^^^

I found that a heck of a lot of Newcastle fans either wanted him to stay or were gutted him going, but wished him luck. I rate the guy and feel he is the scapegoat of whats gone wrong for us this season.

I also recall Kebe tweeting he was off to Newcastle, but that was ok, yeah? Selectiveness. Assumptions. Lets pick on Guthrie. It's his fault we're shit.

challenge was on Jagielka, and he injured him. Replaced with Heitinga.

It was Jagielka who has now gone off. That yellow was worth it.

Alfie assessed the threat to his goalscoring opportunities and dealt with it.

Now for Kebe to take out Pienaar or Baines and we're in with a chance...

Oh do shut up. At what point have I said he is to blame for us being poor? Feel free to carry on putting words into my mouth though!!

In my opinion he comes across as a bit of a tw@t & seems to seek approval/attention or his ego being fed on Twitter.

10 mins gone and the same old story, 64% possession for Everton.

Also that Hart free kick was the first shot on goal in over 100 minutes of football.

Classic case of player not playing improving game by game.

Sorry has not convinced me.

Thanks to 'The McDermott book of Random Selections, Tactics and Mysterious Injuries' he never really got the chance to improve game by game. Dreadful signing and waste of limited funds by McDermott.
