a cheap (and predictable) shotBig ErnJohn Madejski's Wallet
My Everton STH mate was texting me throughout the game, and he was worried for large chunks of it tbf
Probably more worried he'd find the tyres nicked from his car when he got out the ground.

3-1 away at Everton...no shame

Arnie_PieManchesterRoyals No mate its a serious question
But is a bit lame to start calling this out already, though if you want a serious answer, I would say December, if we are still in the bottom three. I will not be happy about it if he is given the boot regardless.
Funds were not available and that is the root cause of our start, though in reality we have not actually been that bad and we always start slowly.
I have faith.

Born 'n Bred RoyalMeMeMe He appears to be losing the dressing room too... Guthrie, Le Fondre, Pog and now Mc Cleary starting to voice.... http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/footb ... _fc_starts
McCleary should be starting more in my opinion, personally I prefer him to McAnuff. This article coming out probably means he will continue on the bench as anyone criticising the manager mysteriously disappears from the starting line up...

winchester_royal Even by HNA standards the overreaction on this thread over the last 15 hours has been pretty laughable. Everton have lost once in their last 17 prem games at Goodison, are 6th in the league, and a couple of weeks ago were considered serious contenders for a CL spot. The level to which we competed, certainly for the first 40 minutes, yesterday was promising and every fan who was actually at the ground was pleased with the effort and performance of the players..as was shown in the atmosphere created. Eventually their quality shone through, but that was to be expected given the respective wage budgets. On the same day Southampton lost at home to the bottom side, and Wigan got spanked by a team that were two places below Everton. We're not even close to being out of yet, and if City do the business against Villa we can move ahead of them next Saturday.
Get a oxf*rd grip.

There aren't that many people complaining about the performance, at least I'm not. It's the total lack of lessons learnt from McDermott and his poor management over the last three games that is the problem. What happened on the pitch yesterday was utterly predictable. And just til inevitable and easy for Everton.

Not sure there is anything McDermott could have done differently. He sent a team out there that performed admirably, and competed more than anyone could expect given that it was a 6th v 19th match.
The Wigan game was a disappointment, but those games come along for every team. We're just lucky that under Brian those types of performances have been very rare.
Any talk of McDermott resigning/sacked at this stage is utterly ludicrous, and those saying we are already down need to take a good long look at the table and then themselves.
We have the worst squad in the division by a distance, and whilst more could/should have been done in the transfer windows to correct that (though tbf they did try in January) there can be very little doubt that Brian is getting (or at least very close to getting) the best out of this group.
