Gutted about the result today. Personally think BMD needs to go. I do understand that we have lots of shit footballers but bringing someone else in could potentially spice up the dog fight. It's been the club's agenda to go all marketing and PR on us (AMF), so it's only fair that the product they're selling is, at the very least, enjoyable and entertaining to the watch. Season tickets are dear and I'm bored of losing shitly.

Heard so many fans make up songs that are crap. This doesn't actually fall into that category, it's really quite good. Bit of digital mastery with the vocals (nothing personal) and it could very easily catch on.
One big error though - Mark McGhee left us for Leicester, not Wolves. That's gonna f*ck up your lyrics a bit. Sorry mate.

The first game we played after he left was Wolves....he left us for Wolves but Mick and Jimmy did alright. It's subjective of course
I'm not changing the lyrics cos it's a talking point....I will make a better recording though.

Brilliant evocation of an era and a love of Elm Park and a time I recall with extremely fond memories.
Never mind the artistic license with McGhee's departure to 'Wolves' rather than Leicester. It kind of fits anyway. Like you say, the first game we played after he jumped ship was against the Tipton Terrors and started a feud that didn't really blow itself out until some time after he'd left them. The hair on the back of my neck stood up that day as the South Bank roared its collective rage and ire into the darkening Berkshire air. Scott Taylor and his Nandrolone eyes...happy days.
As for Ben's video - the business. Imagine what it would be like with some grainy slo-mo of those times to The Terraces?
