Ian Royal
The Royal I don't know what's worse, having Taylor in goal or legs in midfield

Blackman upfront.
One would assume that you are setting yourselves up for a fall.

And one would hope that you agree

One would be better served by not taking cheap snipes at Reading players....its all been done before.

I don't have a complaint about Taylor, he's doing what we brought him in for. Providing decent quality back up for a keeper injury crisis. My only issue would be Andersen is fit and out of the 25 when he could be getting games for us because of him. Leigterwood isn't really good enough, but he's mostly been ok since his return to the side. We don't have a lot of other options.

Blackman hasn't done anything to give me hope he was worth even half his price tag yet, but as you say, I'd be delighted to see him have an impact.

Reports back from a (Pompey) STH suggests that Andersen (when on loan to them) is a good shot stopper, but that is all. No command of his box, and shanks his kicks worse than me.

Leigterwood has mostly been ok....which is an improvement on most of the squad the last few games

Blackman, will we ever know? given your preferrence of opportunities

Cheap snipes at reading players, Taylor is shite and the fact he has only made 67 appearances since 1997 makes this obvious. 67 games in 16 years is insane, on average about 4 games a season. One of those footballers that don't really care if he plays just collects his wage. Say on the books at city for 3 years and neve made an appearance I don't think

-----------------Taylor------------------
Kelly-----Pearce----Mapps----Harte
--------- Karacan------Ledge---------
McCleary---------------------McAnuff
---------Le Fondre----Hunt-----------

Subs: Henley, Gunter, Morrison, Guthrie, Akpan, HRK, Blackman

Back to the old formula. Ledge and Karacan doing all the work and either passing it t the wing of hoofing. Playing against a champ class team calls for effective champ tactics. Morrison's horrible performance last week giving Pearce another break. Guthrie's inclusion, although having been called for, is seen as a gutless caving in to pressure by hateful HNA posters.

We have to go 4-4-2 at home in a must win game..........if we start 4-5-1, then we'll be in trouble

Just wished we persevered with the side that beat Sunderland rather than BM tinkering since then....

TAYLOR
SHOREY MARIAPPA PEARCE KELLY
McCLEAREY LEDGERTWOOD AKPAN ROBSON-KANU
McANUFF
HUNT

If it's pants at half time bring on Le Fondre
That's our problem, due to lack of strength it's fine margins
Have I gone too left field

McDermott has picked the same team as against Everton, with exception of HRK in for Kebe

I'm going home before kick off if this is the starting line up.

To clarify that; it has to be a 4 4 2. Villa haven't kept a clean sheet since the start of December. It wouldn't be a massive issue if the 5 we had in midfield weren't all way out of their depth.
