There's a win against Wolves inbetween those two defeats.

It would be hilarious. Think they'll see it through this season though.

And the maximum points reduces further to 104.

Watford only 5 points behind. I'm looking at full choke would be 3rd or worse. Watford, Crystal Palace and Hull all have a good chance of passing them!

Yeah, it's not a true choke unless they end up in the play offs. But losing the title would be a pretty good effort from where they were.

This thread now in full swing!

Another draw and a loss and slight asphixiation truns into a full throttle.

Not having that, the only reason the choke countdown exists is to revel in the failure of the Cardiff Dragon Red Bluebirds to attain Premier Status. There shall be no enjoyment if they achieve second spot.

You takes your joy where you can. Besides, I did say it's not a true choke unless they finish third (and inevitably screw up the POs).

Like Chelsea and the Champions League, it's inevitable it will happen. I predict this season will see Cardiff choking fully yet again, in a similar manner to the way Chelsea v Barcelona ended with the Iniesta strike in the last minute of injury time. I haven't celebrated a goal for another team in quite the same manner :)

Except that the Chelsea story ended with them winning it - which by inference says that Cardiff will eventually succeed without choking (let's hope not)

Since I started this thread Cardiff's record is DWLWLDD. 1.29 points a game. Before I started it they were on 2.17 points a game.

Still think they did enough early in the season to crawl across the line in an unconvincing manner, similar to us in 2001/02. Hilarious if they don't though.
