Brian has done a fantastic job over the last few years and he's Reading through and through.

Having said that, I do think that this afternoon put the final nail in the coffin. Last time round I was in the SOS brigade saying to keep Sir Steve but in hindsight that was the wrong call. And based on that, it probably will be time to replace Brian at the end of the season

Sadly, I think he may just be a bit too nice a bloke to be a top level manager.

Agree with all the anti 'McDonut' sentiments. The job Brian has done here has been superb, and he should be held in high regard by us all.

However, I fear that he should go at the end of the season. It isn't that fact that we are, in all likelyhood, going down that galls. Without Brian we wouldn't be here in the first place. It is the absence of any progress this season that has been so hard to stomach. We have been outplayed in every game this season, except arguably Sunderland at home. We have failed to adapt successfully in any way tactically during this time (almost to the point of believing we don't need to), and we have failed to address personnel problems during both the summer and January. Season expectations aside, this just shows a lack of capability and flexibility amongst those in charge that is required if we are to progress as a club.

If Brian is still here come August, I certainly won't complain, but otherwise Adkins for me.

The guy is trying his best for the club, unfortunately his best is not good enough and he shouls be relieved of his duties. However, he has been a great servant to the club so even if he has come up a bit short this season, he still deserves our respect for getting us promoted last season.
